SpaceNed is the Dutch association of space companies in the Netherlands. With around 40 members, its main goal is to strengthen the position of Dutch companies and institutions and have the dynamic and competitive aerospace sector in the Netherlands reach its full potential.
Under the banner ‘Global challenges, Netherlands Space solutions’, the Netherlands uses aerospace technology - including applications based on satellite data - to contribute to solutions for major societal challenges in areas such as climate, water and agriculture.
SpaceNed stimulates innovation, knowledge transfer and cooperation between members, in close cooperation with the national and regional governments. Focus is on maintaining and further expanding the leading role the Dutch aerospace sector has in niches like earth observation technology, small satellites, solar panels and smart space applications.
